近期有多位群友 [DP] [DP] 反馈,收到 Monzo 要求提供英国居留证明的邮件:
From time to time, we check in with our customers to get to know more about how they're using their account. It's part of what we need to do as a regulated bank.
Please can you provide us with evidence of your British Passport, Biometric Residency Permit or UK Visa. If you do not have any of these documents, please provide us with a government share code.
超时没有提供后账户被关:
We're getting in touch to let you know that we've decided to close your Monzo account…
Unfortunately we can't tell you why we're closing your account…
We recommend that you withdraw any money, close any Pots and transfer any payments to a different account. After… you won't be able to use your card or send and receive payments
2024年或更早就有群友收到 Monzo 邮件提示在英国之外使用了很久,要求提供居留证明:
It looks like you've been using Monzo abroad for an extended period of time. We're getting in touch to check if you've moved abroad or if you're just spending time away?
If you're still a UK resident, please could you also provide one of the following, dated within the last 3 months, relating to your current address…
If you have moved abroad permanently, unfortunately we're going to have to ask you to close this account. According to our Terms & Conditions, we can't offer accounts to anyone who lives outside the UK
